Alex von Alsbach is a beautiful 8-month old German shepherd puppy who will make a wonderful companion.  Alex is a generally calm and well-socialized pup who is seeking a low-stimulus and quiet environment with his forever family.  He is currently enjoying a fabulous life in his foster home where his mommy tells us he’s the IDEAL houseguest – he is potty trained, is relaxed and has impeccable house manners, and will sleep quietly in a crate all night.  He is a perfect gentleman around all the other fur companions in his foster home – including small and large dogs, and even chickens!  He is sometimes fearful of a new environment, and for this reason we feel he would be best with older kids or in an adult-only family.  This gentle boy eats treats very carefully from your hand, is not ‘puppy mouthy’ or ‘jumpy’, and is so sweet to his people.  Alex enjoys car rides to the park, where he savors every minute of doggy play with his fur buddies yet will obediently come back to you when called.  If you are looking for a gorgeous pup on the ‘mature’ end of the puppyhood scale,  and can provide a calm, relaxed home environment, Alex is your guy!
